Front-Line Ready (FLR)

What is Front-Line Ready (FLR)?

Front-line ready (FLR) is the status assigned to a used vehicle that has completed reconditioning and is prepared for retail display. The vehicle has been inspected, repaired, detailed, photographed, and priced.

Why Front-Line Ready (FLR) Matters

Tracking time from acquisition to front-line ready is one of the most important operational metrics in a used vehicle department. Every day a vehicle spends in recon is a day it is not generating revenue. Tight FLR timelines reduce carrying costs and improve overall inventory turn.
