How to Place a Bid
Placing a Bid
  1. Bid in increments of $100 or place a proxy bid. You’ll see a progress bar and confirmation message upon completion.
Proxy Bid:
  1. This is the maximum bid you want to place. It will not place another bid until there has been a counter bid placed. The proxy bid will supersede the live bid. (Bid $100 over the last placed bid)
If you see “Reserve Met”, the floor price has been reached and the car will go to the highest bidder.
  1. Live Auction - If you are the high bidder on a Live Auction and are under the floor price, the seller has until 2 am EST to Accept, Decline, or Counter your high bid before it expires.
  2. Ended Auction - If you place a bid on an Ended Auction, that bid is good for 24 hours and the Account Management Team will reach out to the seller on your behalf.
  3. Live Appraisal - If you place a bid on a Live Appraisal Auction, the seller has 3 days to accept your high bid.
