Level 2 Charging

Level 2 charging uses a 240-volt AC supply to charge an EV, adding approximately 10 to 30 miles of range per hour depending on vehicle and charger output. It is the most common solution for home and public charging installations.

Dealers selling EVs should be able to advise customers on Level 2 charging installation, compatible equipment, and typical charge times for the specific model being purchased. Being knowledgeable on charging builds customer confidence and reduces post-sale questions.
