Rebuilt Title

What is Rebuilt Title?

A rebuilt title, also called a reconstructed title, is issued when a salvage vehicle has been repaired to a driveable condition and passed a state inspection. The title permanently reflects its rebuilt status, even after multiple subsequent sales.

Why Rebuilt Title Matters

Rebuilt title vehicles can offer value to buyers willing to accept the uncertainty of their repair history. However, dealers must be cautious: financing is difficult to secure, resale value is significantly lower than a clean-title equivalent, and full disclosure is legally required at the point of sale.
