Live Auction Types

Active Auctions

Vehicles are currently open for bidding with a live countdown timer.

  • Ready to Sell – 20-minute auction with a seller-set reserve price. If the reserve is met, the vehicle sells to the highest bidder at the end of the timer.
  • Live Appraisal – Bidding is open, but the seller has until end of business on the third day after the auction to accept the highest bid. No reserve is required.
  • No Reserve – All vehicles sell to the highest bidder with no minimum price. No Reserve auctions run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm ET and Saturdays at 2pm ET.
  • Buy Now- Some sales will have this feature. You will need to confirm that you would like to buy it for the price shown. The price is not a bid price; it is the price at which the vehicle will be purchased.

Coming Soon

Auctions scheduled but not yet open for live bidding. You can place proxy bids on Coming Soon vehicles before the auction starts, or watchlist them to bid when they go live.

Private Events

Auctions restricted to specific dealer networks. If you have access, Private Events appear in your left sidebar. Contact your ACV rep to inquire about eligibility.

Featured Seller Events

Curated auctions from large-fleet or high-volume sellers, often with specific buyer fee structures (for example, $100 Avis buy fee). Browse Featured Seller Events from the Events section in the Marketplace sidebar.
