ACV Auctions Now Using AuctionACCESS for Credential Verification

To provide more seamless services for our customers, ACV Auctions has switched to using AuctionACCESS for credential verification. Because many of our customers already use the platform to manage documents, such as Dealer Licenses, we hope that our integration will make ACV Auctions even more seamless and centralized.

Here are some benefits of our move to AuctionACCESS:

Faster onboarding/registration: Onboarding onto ACV Auctions will be easier and will only take a few minutes, whereas it could take up to a few days in the past.
Simplified document updates: When your Dealer License expires, you can just update it in AuctionACCESS and we will automatically get an update; you don’t have to send us a separate message.
Authorized access: AuctionACCESS ensures that every buyer is authorized to purchase for a dealership,and you can add or remove any individuals from your organization.

What Is AuctionACCESS?

AuctionACCESS is the leading dealer credentialing system for the wholesale auto auction industry in North America.

AuctionACCESS verifies dealer credentials and authorized representatives, creating a secure and convenient process that ensures only qualified dealers participate in wholesale auctions—like those hosted by the ACV team. Having an AuctionACCESS card grants dealers access to participate in in-person and online wholesale auctions.

How to Locate AuctionACCESS Credentials

When you sign up with ACV Auctions, dealers and their representatives will be able to register by providing their 100 Million Number and then register each affiliated dealership.

Your 100 Million Number is your AuctionACCESS membership number shown on your AuctionACCESS Mobile Card. The number is displayed directly under your name in the AuctionACCESS Mobile App.You can find your AuctionACCESS Mobile Card by logging into AuctionACCESS.com and selecting the "Profile" section.

During our registration process, it will also ask for the “4 Last Digits of Government ID.”This refers to the last four digits of the photo ID associated with your AuctionACCESS account.

What's the difference between an AuctionACCESS 5 Million and 10 Million Number?

5 Million Number: A unique number for every licensed automotive dealer
100 Million Number: A unique number for every owner, officer, or buyer authorized to buy and sell for a dealership
