ACV facts & figures

Here’s a look at our top 20 best-selling used vehicles of 2025 within our wholesale marketplace, where familiar names dominate the list and demand trends largely held steady.
2025 Overall Insights
Trucks Continue to Dominate the Top of the List
Trucks continued to drive used vehicle demand in 2025, accounting for five of the top 20 models and three of the top 10. The Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 claimed the top two spots, with 2018 and 2014 emerging as their strongest model years. The Ram 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 also performed well, while the Toyota Tacoma remained the only import truck to make the list.
SUVs Maintain Strong, Broad-Based Demand
SUVs represented nine of the top 20 vehicles, with demand evenly split between imports and domestics. The Ford Escape ranked as the top domestic SUV, while the Honda CR-V led imports. Models like the Toyota RAV4, Nissan Rogue, Toyota Highlander, and Honda Pilot reinforced continued demand for compact and midsize SUVs focused on practicality and efficiency.
Sedans Hold Their Ground, Driven by Imports
Despite trucks and SUVs dominating the top ranks, seven sedans made the list, largely driven by imports. The Honda Accord led the segment, followed by the Civic, Camry, Corolla, and Altima. These models continue to appeal to value-focused buyers seeking reliability and affordability.
Imports Pull Slightly Ahead Overall
Imports edged out domestics in 2025, with 11 import models in the top 20 compared to 9 domestics. However, domestics still dominated the top five positions, largely due to strong truck sales. As in prior years, imports led sedans and crossovers, while domestics controlled full-size trucks.
Older Model Years Perform Well Among the Top 20
Within the top 20 vehicles, model years from 2014 to 2018 appeared frequently, reflecting demand for vehicles that have moved past early depreciation while remaining reliable. Newer model years such as 2022 and 2023 also surfaced, particularly among SUVs and trucks, highlighting a balance between value-oriented older inventory and newer alternatives.
