Where did you grow up?
I lived in Buffalo until I was 14 then moved with my family to Canada.
What is your current position?
I am the Titles Manager. Besides managing and guiding the team, I spend time resolving issues, working closely with other teams within ACV, and constantly looking for ways to improve processes to make us more efficient.
What do you enjoy about working at ACV?
I love the culture and the energy. I worked at a startup company years ago, and ACV reminds me how exciting it is to be on the ground floor. I love the feeling that I can contribute to making ACV the best in the business and that my opinion counts! The people I work with across the board are awesome!
What was your journey to joining the automotive industry?
I started working part-time in auto collections when I was in college. From there, I went to work in remarketing at Marine Midland Bank for 6 years. Three of my bosses at Marine Midland left the bank and started Remarketing Service of America (RSA). My career took me there for the next 21 years (RSA was later sold to Daimler Chrysler, and then eventually to Fiserv).
What work were you doing prior to ACV Auctions?
I spent 20 years managing the operations in remarketing at RSA/Fiserv. My last year I managed our Title team at Fiserv, which included title servicing for repossessions, lien perfections, and off-lease vehicles.
What’s your dream car?
Honestly, being in the auto business for about 30 years, you would think I would have a dream car, but I don't! One that drives smoothly, good in the snow, and big enough to cart my dog around!
What are some things you do outside of work?
I spend a lot of time with my almost 3-year-old German Shepherd, Maddie. I enjoy going to bingo. During the summer, I spend most of my free time on my tractor cutting our lawns and hanging out on the beach.
What’s an interesting fact that most people don’t know about you?
Although I am an American Citizen, I have lived in Canada for over 35 years. I am considered a landed immigrant. My brother and his family live next door to me, and my sister lives next door to him.
