Meet Our Director of Vehicle Services: Robert Reisch

Where did you grow up?
What do you enjoy about working at ACV?
EVERYTHING. I feel as though all of my past life experiences have culminated into this work experience. People talk about work / life balance as if work has to be something that is unenjoyable. When you find the right company and the right opportunity coupled with the right people, life and work naturally feel balanced.
What was your journey to joining the automotive industry?
I started in the car business as a 16 year old, riding my bicycle from Eden to Hamburg after school detailing cars at Cars Unlimited on Camp rd.
What work were you doing prior to ACV Auctions?
Regional Manager for TrueCar
What’s your dream car?
What are some things you do outside of work?
I enjoy teaching my 9 yr old son, Charlie, how to do everything; from working on the cars, to basketball & soccer, as well as home repair and landscaping. I also LOVE date night with my wife of 10 years, Jennifer.
