How to Use the New Marketplace Search Results Page

Your new Search Results Page (SRP) in the ACV Auctions Marketplace includes a modern layout and intuitive navigation panel that makes it easy to quickly see what matters most to you. Below are quick instructions that show you how to navigate.

Note: To switch between the new “beta” view and the “classic” view, just use the toggle in the upper left corner of the Marketplace page. You can easily switch back and forth while you get used to the new look.

Auction Status Tabs:

• All: Use this tab to see a combined view of all Coming Soon, Active, and Make Offer listings.
• Coming Soon: Use this tab to see a preview of units before they become Active.
• Active: Use this tab to see real-time auctions only.
• Make Offer: Use this tab to see listings available for offers only.
• Sold: Use this tab to see sold vehicle listings only.

Sorting Options: 

• Ending Soonest: This sorting option shows the auctions ending soonest first in the search results.
• Recommended: This new AI-powered sorting option intelligently ranks vehicles based on bidding history, location, and more to surface the most relevant listings.
• Priced to Sell: This new sorting option displays listings that are closest to market value first.

Creating a Saved Search

• Saved Searches appear near the top left side of your Search Results Page.

Event Categories  

• Quickly access different event categories in the left side navigation of your Search Results Page. 
  
  • Events: This includes events such as the No Reserve Sale. Just check the box next to an event to see only those listings.
  • Featured Seller Events: This includes public buying events such as AVIS. If you’d prefer not to see units for certain Featured Seller Events, hover near the lane and click the eye icon to temporarily hide these listings.
  • Private Events: This displays any private events you may have exclusive access to.
• If you want to clear an Event, select one or more events to quickly reset your view.

Vehicle Card Information 

• Event Badges: Each vehicle card includes an event badge that clearly indicates which event the vehicle belongs to (i.e. the No Reserve Sale).
• Auction State Display: Each vehicle card also displays time remaining or scheduled launch dates.

FAQs & Common Issues

Q: Can I select multiple auction states at once?
A: No, you can select only one auction state (All, Coming Soon, Active, Make Offer, Sold) at a time.

Q: How can I tell which event a vehicle is in?
A: Each vehicle card now displays a clear event badge directly on the card.

Q: Can I hide certain featured seller lanes?
A: Yes, go to the Featured Seller Events in the left side navigation and hover over the lane you want to hide. Click the “eye” icon that appears on the right to hide/show these listings.

Q: Is it possible to go back to the old “classic” view?
A: Yes, you can temporarily switch back to the classic view while you become more familiar with the new Search Results Page “2.0”. Use the toggle in the upper left corner to switch back and forth.
