We release the buyer's pickup slip depending on when and how they check out, and whether their dealer account has an AuctionACCESS ID.
If the buyer's dealer account has an AuctionACCESS ID, we release the pickup slip by 11:00 AM ET the calendar day after they check out.
Otherwise, we release the pickup slip by 1:30 PM ET 5 calendar days after they check out.
These release times can change if an ACH payment from the buyer didn’t clear, as described in Rejected payments.
If the buyer pays with the ACV Capital floor plan, Advantage, or NextGear Capital, we release the pickup slip immediately after the buyer checks out.
If the buyer uses ACV Transport, we release the pickup slip to the carrier assigned to transport the vehicle. The buyer doesn't have access to the pickup slip.
If an ACH payment from the buyer didn't clear, we don't release any of the buyer's pickup slips until they resolve every rejected payment.
After the buyer resolves every rejected payment, their standard release time becomes 5 calendar days for 14 calendar days. The calendar day after they resolve the last rejected payment counts as day one. The extended release time applies to every auction the buyer wins during that period.
The extended release time doesn't apply if we release the pickup slip on the same day or if the buyer uses ACV Transport.
